La visita de mis padres and some other stuff

Hello once again! here are some pictures of when Ma and Dad visited as well as some pictures of me hanging out with Ivan and Alejandra my "Spanish niece and nephew." You've got ma and dad in the Alcazar inside and outside in the gardens. Also, there is me, ma and dad in front of the catedral doing a little botellon with some wine. There is another with ma and me inside the catedral. Finally there is a pic of Heather, Ma and me with a random sculpture in the museo de bellas artes. Muy Bien! Sorry this is so short but I have to run and get some stuff done! I hope all is well with all of you and I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU TERRIBLY.

Barcelona

Hola again! And here is our trip to Barcelona...beginning with a couple gulps of wine in the airport...(pic of me and Heather). Barcelona was a wonderful trip. We stayed in a hostel right by the beach about 10 minutes from Las Ramblas which is a great street with shopping and fun things to do. We did a great amount of sightseeing...we saw La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera (the picture of me sticking my head out from behind the sculpture), La Casa Battlo, Las Ramblas, Parque Guell, The Picasso museum, and other stuff along the way. Also, we saw a great light show at the big fountain in Plaza Espana which was really cool too. The pictures above are of me, Amber, Chris and Heather sitting in front of a fountain, of me and Stephanie outside our hostel on the beach, a picture of the fountain show, and also of a great sunset that we watched. We also got to take a trip to the acuarium...which is the largest in Europe which was fun too!

London

Hello again! We went from Dublin to London on Friday the 3rd and had a great time there as well, although we didn't have much time. We stayed in a really fun hostel and met some really interesting people. In our room we stayed with two girls from Hungary, two from Germany and one from France. It was a challenge but very fun to try to communicate! On sat. we tried to get as much done as possible. We saw Buckingham palace, the Westminister Abbey (Theres a picture of me in front of it!) Big Ben, the National Gallery, The British Museum (the picture of me hanging out with a couple of greek philosophers..), St. Paul's Cathedral, and the London Bridge. The city of London is absolutely amazing and it was so fun to walk around and explore the sites. There were some great exhibits in the National Gallery (the picture of Chris and I with the Lion is in front of it) and in the British Museum as well. It is crazy how much stuff the Brits have possession of...they hoard everything! All in all London was great...except we missed our flight back to Sevilla due to security hold ups, but now we are safe and sound back home.

Dublin

Hello everyone! How are you doing? I have just ended a crazy amount of traveling these past couple weeks. First, we went to Barcelona, then came back to take midterms, and then we flew to Dublin and from Dublin to London. I am posting separately for each trip so that it will be easier to read. So, we arrived in Dublin Tuesday night (halloween). We stayed in a great hostel right near the center of town. That night we just went across the street to a fun pub and met a lot of great people. We met Edward scissor hands, two Foster cans, Dolly Parton, and a bad plastic surgeon. It was "loads of fun" as the Irish would say. The rest of the time we explored the city and our friend David (a.k.a. Edward) got us into the Book of Kells for free and also took us on a little tour around. He is incredibly intelligent and he is a scholar at Trinity...he showed us the place he is staying at which is right on the campus of trinity and really cool! The pictures are of Trinity college, Me and Aoife-an irish friend I met through my irish friends in Sevilla that I met up with in Dublin, a bridge in Dublin and a picture of me and Aoife in front of BOB'S place for all you Bob's out there....I got a kick out of that!
